Community Outreach Coordinator
Lorenzo Long joined Rifeline in August of 2019 as a Community Outreach Coordinator. He has a background in grassroots organizing and project management, as well as campaign design and implementation. At Rifeline, he provides support to the US 290 Fredericksburg Relief Route Feasibility Study as well as the Texas Department of Transportation's Loop 360 program.
Prior to working with Rifeline, Lorenzo led a successful campaign to decrease waste of single-use plastics through a city-wide initiative in Logan, Utah.
Lorenzo graduated magna cum laude from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies in 2019. During his time at Utah State University he was the Political Engagement Coordinator for the Student Organization for Society and Natural Resources, and spent much of his time working on environmental campaigns to improve the community and its surrounding ecosystems. While he had never been to Texas before working with Rifeline, he is excited to call Austin home.
