Katy Fitzgold

Vice President of Professional Services

Katy Fitzgold joined Rifeline in January 2020 and serves as Director of Communications and Strategy. She brings over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector where her roles incorporated everything from executive leadership with strategic planning and communications to operational management and fundraising. With a strong background in project management and consensus building through relationships, Katy is at her best in moving diverse groups of people forward together.  

Katy holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Trinity University and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. She currently leads a five-firm consultant team working to implement the Austin ISD 2022 Bond. With her team, she also works on three separate water projects through Austin Water and the Brazos River Authority, and several additional projects throughout the City of Austin and Travis County. During her tenure at Rifeline Katy has also worked on the City of Austin 2016 Mobility Bond and has supported work in Williamson County and with TxDOT.  

With a passion for people and relationships, Katy is a Leadership Austin Essential alumnus, and has certifications in mediation, facilitation, Systematic Development of Informed Consent, and non-profit management. She is also in the process of earning her certification in IAP2.  

When she’s not working, Katy can usually be found playing in her garden or spending time in nature with her family.
