Brielle Read

Sr. Community Outreach Coordinator

Brielle joined Rifeline in April 2026 as a Senior Community Outreach Coordinator. At Rifeline, Brielle’s work focuses on public involvement for the I-35 Capital Express Central Project and occasional support for other Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) projects.  A few of her core responsibilities include stakeholder outreach, event coordination and project documentation.

Before her work at Rifeline, Brielle worked as a freelance writer, producing geography, history and travel pieces. She spent four years living in South America, as well. During her time abroad, she served as a Fulbright grantee in Uruguay, where she worked with public education institutions to develop English language activities. She also worked in Chile for a major multinational insurance broker on the Latin American regional team, where she organized international conferences, townhalls and other high-level communication projects.

Brielle graduated from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She is a proud native Austinite and, in her free time, enjoys hiking around Austin, doing yoga and playing the violin.
