Camille Santamaria

Community Outreach Manager

Camille Santamaría joined Rifeline in April 2025 as a Community Outreach Manager. Her role specializes in public involvement for the I-35 Capital Express Central project in Austin, Texas. She brings four years of experience in strategic communications, community engagement, and program development across public health and nonprofit sectors.  Camille excels in transforming needs into tailored solutions that foster lasting community impact.

Previously, Camille managed community engagement initiatives and content strategy from concept to delivery at Texas DSHS in Immunizations. She also supported education equity and development as an AmeriCorps student mentor with Communities In Schools. Her experience in youth mentorship and program development extends beyond her professional work, encompassing seven years as a volunteer mentor and organizational lead for students from elementary to high school.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas State University, refining her expertise in relationship-building – spending many days soaking up the sun at the San Marcos river.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and community, swimming, pickleball, watching movies, and embarking on new adventures.
