Camille Santamaria

Community Outreach Manager

Camille Santamaría joined Rifeline in April 2025 as a Community Outreach Manager. Her role specializes in public involvement for high-profile infrastructure projects in Austin, Texas, including the I-35 Capital Express Central project. She brings five years of experience in strategic communications, community engagement, and project management across public health, education and transportation sectors. Camille is dedicated to engaging communities and championing efforts that create lasting, positive change.

Camille earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas State University. Prior to joining Rifeline, Camille served with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and AmeriCorps through Communities in Schools, where she developed expertise in statewide partnership building, stakeholder engagement, and community-centered program delivery. During her time at DSHS, she fostered 50 new partnerships in a single year, expanding the reach of public health initiatives across Texas. She collaborated with key stakeholders to develop and implement state-wide educational campaigns. These experiences strengthened her ability to build meaningful relationships and advance public-facing initiatives.

Camille’s professional experience includes translating complex information into plain language, copy editing, grant reporting, presenting to diverse audiences, and developing culturally relevant materials.
