Gabby Garza
Community Outreach Manager
Gabby joined the Rifeline team in October 2024 as a Senior Community Outreach Coordinator and currently serves as a Community Outreach Manager. Gabby graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a minor in Social Work.
After graduating from UT Austin, Gabby operated as a Crisis Response Coordinator at Vaco by Google where she triaged, researched, and reported man-made and natural disasters in real time. Before joining Rifeline, Gabby worked in retail management at H-E-B, where she strengthened her abilities to build meaningful relationships and lead through adaptable communication.
In her time at Rifeline, Gabby has contributed to community engagement efforts with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the Austin Independent School District (AISD) bringing strong communication and proactive support to each project.
Originally from San Antonio, Gabby has called Austin home since 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on the trails, fiber arts, and hanging out with her dog.
