Gabby Garza

Community Outreach Coordinator

Gabby joined the Rifeline team in October 2024 and currently serves as a Senior Community Outreach Coordinator. Gabby has a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a Minor in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. 

After graduating from UT Austin, Gabby operated as a Crisis Response Coordinator at Vaco by Google where she triaged, researched and reported man-made and natural disasters in real time. Before joining Rifeline, Gabby worked in retail management at H-E-B, where she contributed to the grand openings of two stores in Central Texas and championed diversity within her stores. 

In her time at Rifeline, Gabby has supported stakeholder engagement with clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Austin Independent School District (AISD), bringing strong communication and organizational skills to each project. 

Originally from San Antonio, Gabby has called Austin home since 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys running, fiber art, and spending time with her dog.
