Jen Carlson

Office Administrative Coordinator

Jen joined the Rifeline team in June 2023 as the Office Administrative Coordinator. She brings a diverse background in hospitality, higher education, and the nonprofit sector.  

Jen earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a minor in music from Northern Arizona University (NAU). Prior to joining Rifeline, she completed an AmeriCorps term with the local nonprofit College Forward (now College Possible Texas), where she supported first-generation college students with academics, financial planning, career development, and more.   

Her previous roles have helped her develop strong administrative and interpersonal skills, which she brings together seamlessly in her current position. As part of the admin and operations team, Jen supports staff across both backend and client-facing functions.  

Originally from central Arizona, Jen moved to Austin for her AmeriCorps service. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, visiting local coffee shops, and singing with the Round Rock Community Choir.
