Rayna Hanson

Community Outreach Coordinator

Rayna Hanson joined Rifeline in July of 2023 as Community Outreach Coordinator,
bringing extensive experience in government administration, nonprofit leadership,
and community outreach. She is driven by a passion for supporting individuals and communities in need and excels at collaborating with diverse stakeholders and navigating complex situations with empathy and care.

Rayna earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Texas State University, graduating summa cum laude, with a concentration in Digital Media and a minor in Social Work.

Before joining Rifeline, Rayna served as an outreach specialist at the Area Agency on Aging
of the Capital Area – a nonprofit government agency supporting older adults across a
10-county region in Texas. In this role, she partnered with local organizations to ensure vulnerable populations received vital resources. She also worked as a resident services coordinator at an affordable housing community, where she connected low-income families with community programs and advocated for their needs.

At Rifeline, Rayna plays a key role in community outreach for public infrastructure
projects in Williamson County, including Arterial K, Samsung Highway, Atlas 14, Red Bud Lane Widening, the Sam Bass at Hairy Man Road Intersection Improvements, and East Wilco Highway. She works closely with stakeholders – such as county officials, local organizations, and residents – to ensure that community concerns are heard and addressed throughout the planning and implementation of these large-scale projects. Her efforts involve gathering feedback, coordinating information, and facilitating discussions to ensure the voice of the community is represented.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Austin with friends and family, discovering new hiking trails, and traveling to new destinations whenever she can.
