Rob Faubion
Director of Communications and Strategy
Rob Faubion joined Rifeline in January of 2024 as a Director of Communications and Strategy. He has been assisting Central Texas nonprofit and community organizations for more than 35 years by helping to shape their strategic plans, marketing and outreach efforts, client services, and media relations. He holds a BA in Communications from Texas State University.
Rob and his team provide the public engagement and community outreach for the Williamson County Road Bond and Corridor / Road & Bridge programs, in addition to the City of Kyle road bond and infrastructure projects. Rob has also been an active presence with many regional programs, including the Williamson County Health District, Seedling Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, ZACH Theatre, The Long Center, Texas Performing Arts, the Paramount Theatre, the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area, and many more.
Prior to joining Rifeline, Rob served for 10 years as the Chief Community Engagement Officer for AGE of Central Texas, where he created and guided partnerships with the Williamson County EMS, Health District, Juvenile Justice System, Commissioners and County government in collaboration with city municipalities, churches, and regional nonprofit organizations to provide innovative and ongoing programs that continue to improve the lives of Central Texas residents.
Rob has more than 40 years of experience in business management, communications, and marketing, and is an award-winning journalist and advertising professional. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the City of Buda Commission on Aging and chairs the annual HIV & Aging Conference.
Rob is a 7th generation native of Central Texas and former small business owner – with deep ties to the community. He is also a professional actor, appearing in more than 100 feature films, TV shows, national/regional commercials, and theatre productions across the U.S. – including Broadway.
